America's Crisis

from S/T by Class Of 86

/

lyrics

These are the times that try mens' souls. Tyranny, like hell, is not taken with ease. Lay your shoulders on the wheels. The blood of his children will curse his cowardess, who shrinks away in times like this. It's the business of small minds to shrink. Don't shrink. The highwayman, the countryman, the murderer have just as much pretense as he who claims divine immunity. So let it be told to the future that in the dead of winter the city and the country came together under one alarm to lay their shoulders on the wheels.
